Did my bunny Break her leg?
My rabbit is a 2.5 pound, Nether land Dwarf bunny that's about 8 months old. I was holding her in my lap from about 2 feet in height when she jumped on to the tiles below. (yeah i know they are not supposed to be up high...... but she has jumped up and down from Higher places, so i thought it would be ok.... lesson learned.) She slid about 6 inches on the tile and then started limping on her right back leg. The leg is not dangling, but shes holding it up from the ground. She has been putting a little pressure on it and is going about her regular day but with a limp. She can move it slightly to clean her paw. I was wondering if she dislocated it, or broke/sprained it. I don't think it would be broken because i read online that if it is broken it would dangle. I thought about her maybe chipping or breaking her nail, but wouldn't that bleed? There is no blood. We are taking her to the vet either tomorrow or the day after. I was just hoping to maybe find out if this just has to heal on its own, or if their is anything we can do for her. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
